DO NOT GO HERE! Zero stars! She had my daughter and I pick out frames from HER selection on Sept 7th. She told us it would take about a week and a half for my daughter's glasses to come in. I paid out of pocket after insurance $62.00 for frames and an upsell of some glare scratch coating stuff that she said we absolutely need. On october 3rd I was calling looking to pick up. Had me come in at short notice for an emergency appointment. Very friendly and helpful.
Great experience! Dr. Morgenstern was very helpful and took a great deal of time explaining things to me. I highly recommend Nyack Eyecare.
My son went to this doctor in mid-august, and now, mid-october, has no glasses and no contacts. This doctor blamed all the delays on the lab, and I got the lab report, and she was at fault. What bothers me most is not that she charged my over $430 when I am fully covered by insurance, but that she lied directly to me over the phone. I can't emphasize enough how unprofessional she is, and plan to report her to the AMA, and have retained an attorney as well. Do yourself a favor, avoid her!!!!
