Yeah, no. A bunch of photos of narcissistic shirtless guys pumping and sweating on equipment, not to mention other reviews of broken down equipment, bumps this gym to zero consideration. You want to be taken seriously? Want to attract clientele that care about their fitness, including hygiene!, then fix the darn equipment, mandate a shirt policy, and maybe, just maybe, you'll actually attract more diverse clients then guys who simply want to bulk up.
I love that this gym is open 24hrs , but I’m frustrated by the number of machines that have been out of order for months—some potentially even a year. I spoke with the owner, and he gave me a vague excuse about waiting for repairs, promising it would be fixed soon. However, based on other reviews, it seems these machines have been broken for quite some time. i’ve been trying to cancel my membership for over a month now. there’s never anyone there to help cancel it.
I like this gym bc of convenience, but other than that there are so many problems. Men’s bathroom has been out of handsoap for a while now, many broken machines, all treadmills not working predictably and both stairmasters off. Also random $15 “maintenance fees” that look like go to nothing again, could be great if someone just cared to take care of it
I’ve had a great experience at this old school style gym, I love the environment of it and the grungy atmosphere (and it’s 24hrs) but I do wish they had 1 or 2 more employees
