I am currently in the process of building a home and looking at NVR Mortgage (who partners with Ryan Homes) for the loan. Throughout the process, closing costs seem to just keep being added and added. We’re supposed to be getting an over $15,000 sellers credit for using NVR mortgage through Ryan homes, however, it doesn’t even cover closing costs anymore! They also claim to be giving us a lower rate, however, all they did was put more money on the closing costs to buy down the rate and acted like it was a deal. I will contin... read more
It was a challenging start for me because of all the compliance and documentation needed. However, they walked me through the process and made me feel it would work out. They listened and followed up with all my needs in a competitive market environment. Thank you all!
We've had more than a few issues with our new home (3 years old). It isn't that the home has problems, that's understandable and every business makes mistakes. The problem is their lack of follow up help and service when there is a problem. This one issue should not have been a big problem, but they've completely dropped the ball in trying to fix it. Our outside water spigots have never worked properly. Shortly after we moved in, we realized that they wouldn't turn on most of the time. Three years later, it has still not bee... read more
Stay away from NV Homes Don't make same mistake as I did. I paid close $820k for my house back in 2018. Within few months, I have noticed things start breaking. Whenever you call to request service, they tell you this is not covered in the warranty. They hurry to complete the construction without giving attention to details. I wish I could upload the pictures .
I bought a home with Ryan H**** in December 2019 and they made two mistakes that were informed latter during the home construction. The first one was offering me 4 cable spots with no cost then reaching me out to say I had only 3. Fortunately, they realized their mistake and gave me the 4th one with no additional cost. The worst mistake was selling me an expensive frameless shower door that were not possible to be delivered with the fiberglass option I chose to the master bathroom. They offered me to replace it with a top fr... read more
Terrible experience within the next few minutes of going through the prequalification process. I was told that I had 2 foreclosures that never existed. They made up excuses to not give us a conventional loan. They defamed me regarding the "foreclosures" . When I asked to provide the site where she got that information from she said she couldn't tell me that information but it wasn't the credit bureau...…. Please stay away from this lender. I found another lender who said I had no foreclosure in my credit. I am not understand... read more
Built in Clermont fl in 2019. Issues left and right with just bad craftsmanship. Will never buy or recommend any one to them. I look to sale my home soon.
We purchased a Ryan Homes in Virginia in 2008. It was brand new construction at that time. I have to agree with the negative reviews about the builder. Our drywall had noticeable flaws within a couple years after purchase. I realize homes settle over time but nearly every room in the house has an issue. The walls were cracking and nail heads popping out by the 2nd year. I blame poor craftsmanship. I am now working with a contractor to fix these problems. The backyard deck railings literally rotted within 2-3 years, my husban... read more
Ryan Homes is a rip off. After paying my deposit and getting credit worthy they sold my house from up under me without even having my signed release. They even went the length of lying about my credit although I secured funding with Two other lenders that had my scores the same. Their quality has gone down and the management sucks.
