The good is that the Manor Trio system I installed provides decent water quality when the media is relatively new. But in our system where the water is sourced from a well, the media degrades faster than expected even with more frequent changes of the sediment filter that's ahead of the system. I had to do the first change just after three months which franky makes the system more expensive than anticipated. The softener itself is ok. I tested the water after installation and it is at acceptable levels. The customer service sucks though. For example, I went to the website to get info on changing the filter. The link took me to information about hiring someone to install the unit. Never did find a link to tell me how to change the filter. The new filter came and did include instructions but they were pretty vague in some areas. Updated review after working with customer support. Our re-pipe company installed a Manor Trio system a few years back. Over three years there has been some buildup on our porcelain tile shower floor. After my initial review, I was contacted by Nayomi in customer service and she patiently walked how the system functions and what would be causing any buildup. We were sold a top end Manor Trio system when we did a whole house repiping. It sounds like a great concept. We did not need to separate the landscaping and we get great water. What was missing in the description is that this system uses corrosive chemicals. 3 years in now, replacing the filters every 6 months, and the water is eating away our new stone tile and clogging the shower head with mineral deposits in a newly remodeled shower.
DO NOT purchase from this company. We purchased a softener system and had it installed. Immediately after installation our water turned bright blue and smelled metallic. The next morning, we lost all water pressure. Our plumber came out to investigate and found that the cartridge we were sent by the company was severely damaged. The system was not at all what we expected, so we decided to return it. There is 25 percent “restocking fee”???? Then, you have the option to send it back via UPS or USPS.
