I am not happy with my Nuvo water system. From what I understand Nuvo should have never sold me the system they sold me. We live in an area near Las Vegas, and we reportedly have some of the hardest water in the world. The Nuvo citrus filter apparently works great in most places but, not here. If you want a Nuvo filter system here, you have to get an iron filter too. My wife and I don't recall any mention of an iron filter. I purchased a Manor for our primary home and a Duo for our beach house. The Manor is for larger square footage homes, but also has a much more stable wall mount (steel); unfortunately, I cracked the plastic duo mount tightening the fittings - they quoted me $150 to replace it. It is so flimsy that the filters actually rest against the wall. If you are on the fence - go with the Manor. If you are looking for a saltless water softener, these work great. The Manor Duo system itself is excellent. It performs well, delivers great-tasting water, and has been reliable overall. I’ve been very happy with the system’s design and functionality. However, over the past year, the quality of the replacement cartridges has noticeably declined. The two most recent replacement filters I received lack the reinforcement mesh that was present in earlier versions and feel significantly lower in build quality. The Citrus Water Softener is a fraud. I had lived in my house for 19 years with a water softener and was told that this system was a saltless water softener....well in the past 6 months since it was installed, all of my faucets have hard water build up, my dishwasher is messed up to the point that my dishes have a gritty film on them, my oil diffuser is ruined, my cats auto water bowl is so encrusted with hard water deposits, I need lime away to clean it....the clothes washer has buld up and this is what I can see....what do... read more

In just three months my water pressure was near zero. Had to remove all but the standard filter to get water flowing. Was not expecting to need new filters this often. They’re too expensive for that!
