8.7.2025 after visiting the branch to ensure our account doesn't go into inactivity.. still received another letter stating account will be inactive and will incurred fees. Call CS, after holding for over 40 minutes I decided to hang up. If a financial institution can't help members in a timely matter.. then time to move your money.
I've been a member almost 20 years and have had 3 car loans a credit card and checking/savings with NuVision. This institution has really gone down hill over the years. Customer service is poor and it takes forever to get anything done. Online banking is archaic and online account servicing is almost non-existent. My last loan approval a year ago required extra leg work on my end because the underwriting team did not know how to read a paystub properly (seriously). This review is specifically for their phone services. (Because their office services is 5 stars) I called at 10am was put on hold for a long time, I gave them a call back number to hold my place in line and never received a call then called them back 12:45pm because I know they close early on Saturday all to be told that the office is closed and to call during office hours.
only giving one star since I had to give something! I have been trying to call their member services number for 3 days and no one has answered the phone! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!
My former credit union SafeAmerica "merged" with Nuvision in February. The 39,000 Northern California members were forced into Nuvision and lost much of the infrastructure in place at SafeAmerica. The transition was mismanaged in multiple respects, at least in my experience. Nuvision was woefully understaffed in light of the increased workload and, inevitably, problems arose.
