Because of insurance changes, I’ve sadly had to change my PCP after 20 years. Nuvance is located close to my house and takes my insurance. I made an appointment with Dr. Carrasco. Great first experience not only with the doctor, but with the entire staff. My appointment was at 8, I was walked inside at 8:05 as soon as I was checked in. As a new patient with chronic health issues Dr. Carrasco definitely made me feel heard and immediately began taking measures to figure out what was wrong with my health. As a first visit I didn't feel rushed talking about my medical history and describing what exactly I wanted out of treatment. The staff there is extremely nice as well
I had a sick appointment with Dr. Deepannita Das and arrived only 6 minutes late, which is within their stated protocol. Despite this, the receptionist spent over 8 minutes checking me in and then informed me that the doctor’s assistant was not responding about whether I could still be seen. After standing there for over 10 minutes, I was told the doctor would not see me. This is extremely frustrating, especially since I was there for flu-like symptoms that could have been bronchitis or pneumonia. I’ve waited in this office ... read more
