A Great Mortgage Company James B. Nutter, strange name, great mortgage company. Nutter is a no nonsense mortgage company. They offer a selection of loans where they do not charge ANY closing fees. They are headquartered, and have their only office, in KC, and keep good old fashion Heartland values. We received an excellent rate on our mortgage, the staff was easy going and easy to deal with, and they offer their services to people outside KC, too. You won't find a better deal anywhere else.
Mortgage Great Mortgage company, very friendly, great customer service. You get to speak to an actual person. No voice mail. Will work with you when you are behind on payments.

Needs Better Online Bill Pay Refinanced roughly a year ago from a VA loan to James B Nutter after receiving an advertisement in the mail. The offer seemed to good to be true so I checked them out through BBB, and my attorney. All is will so far. One complaint is that the website for online bill pay does not have ANY information on your loan. I would like their website updated to reflect current balances, payments made, next payments due, etc. Most banks adhere to this type of transparency and I'm not sure I would have refina... read more
Customer service is non-existent My friend spent 6 months to assume a loan held by them. Communication was non-existent and no writen corrrespondence was ever received nor were phone calls returned. Individual had A+ credit and could have gone anywhere else and been treated like a human being. Their customer service apparently does not apply to new or prospective clients.
Pre-Qualifying Home for Mortgage Was Smooooth This company has a heart. They care about their customers. When searching for my new home, they pre-qualified me. It was fast and painless.
