I found Dr. Shafi on my insurance network and I could not be happier. She has the best Dr./patient communication she took her time with me and I felt like she not only listened but she cared. She is also very good at finding issues that you are not aware of, for instance, I had a UTI and didn't know it and she prescribed me medicine to fix it, and the daily problem that I was experiencing (which I thought came with age) cleared up within two days (thank you JESUS!). Please do your research and read reviews before your visit. I read them afterwards after receiving very very very poor quality of health care, numerous un needed tests and no answers, canceled appointment, and frustrations. Please don't do it
Dr. Shafi really listen to me and address my concerns and clearly map out her plan to help me in working towards finding the problem so in can be address
Dr Shafi isn’t good like she used to be and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone am always getting the run around especially after I left hospital which they tell me to follow up in 2days with my primary care but she said wait til I finish medicine before be seen right now am looking for a doctor who really cares and do there job not always giving people the run around I got good health insurance in meantime I will be looking for another doctor who really cares ain’t about making money
This is my second visit with Dr. Nusrat Shafi at MUSC. I like the fact that she prefers to research medications and treatments but good luck getting any of that because she never gets back to you and neither does the staff. I'll have to establish with a new doctor. Besides that, you'll wait about 45 minutes after your appointment time to be seen. The crazy thing is that she asked me to do the review. Well here it is.
