Attended the women's empowerment retreat yesterday and I felt held, seen and heard. It can be difficult to put into words an experience like this. I would rate this 10 stars if I could! I attended the full day 'Spring into Summer: A One Day Forest Retreat' in June 2025. Charlie has created such an incredible place to do such important work to our souls. Everything from the location, to the campfire, trails, activities, meadow, charcuterie boxes and tea, even the outhouse was so welcoming and whimsical. Charlie has created something amazing out near Wizard that lets you escape from the busyness of life. I attended a ‘sound bath in the forest’ last year and was able to wander around the trails after the workshop which really brought the whole experience together. I’m excited to see what workshops she will add this year and over the coming years. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good reset!
I had the privilege of attending a retreat here last month and this incredible escape from busy everyday life, not more than 30 mins from Leduc, is truly a hidden gem. If you are looking for a day to immerse yourself in nature be sure to check out the variety of retreats offered by Nurtured Minds. I experienced yoga in the forest, breath work, a sound bath and a guided nature walk, and left feeling rejuvenated and calm!
