Working with Dr. M was a critical part of my pregnancy and post partum experiences. She takes a whole body approach and works to ensure all aspects of self are being taken care of. She was even able to help adjust my kiddos at a critical time when they were babies and needed more support in moving their necks, etc (I had twins). Relaxing and peaceful spot for acupuncture. Dr. Merkel always goes above and beyond in her care. Very knowledgeable.
Dr. Merkel was instrumental in helping me have a smooth, enjoyable pregnancy experiencing. She also helped connect me to lots of amazing providers in other areas of support who were critical to my journey of achieving a natural birth! Even post-birth, she treated my new baby boy to ensure everything was progressing as needed. Cannot recommend her more!
Seeing Dr. Merkel was absolutely the best thing I did for myself during my pregnancy. It helped me be comfortable and confident throughout. She will always give you the time and space to talk through anything going on and come up with helpful and practical advice.
I couldn’t not write a review in case someone finds themselves in my situation. 41 weeks pregnant a week away from an induction with several other stretching approaches and eating mountains of dates not working. I saw Dr. Merkel once on Saturday, so lucky she could squeeze me in. My baby was born Sunday at 9 am. Prior to the appointment there were no signs it would happen. I’m eternally grateful! Only wish I had started treatment sooner.
