My Father spent the last 8 months of his life in this wonderful home. Lavinia and Peter are compassionate caregivers that were given a skill that not many people have. The skill is the ability to work with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients and treat them with the dignity and respect they all deserve despite their different abilities. We were no longer able to take care of Dad the way he needed to be and from day 1 not only did he become part of their family, but we did too. I highly recommend Nurse Lavinia's Home. Our mom had advance Dementia and was very confused. We knew that a smaller environment would be the best choice for her. Nurse Lavinia and Nicole took excellent care of mom. Always keeping us informed and addressing any concerns. We are so grateful for everything they did for mom. They truly are very loving and caring.

My Mom spent a year & half under the care of Lavinia & Nichole. The experience was wonderful. We moved her from a larger facility that didn't provide very good care. We found the care at Nurse Lavinia's to be very hands on & I always felt that Mom was well cared for while living there. The communication between myself & Lavinia was excellent. My Mother suffered from end stage COPD and emphysema. With the limitations of her medical condition, it became harder for her to take care of herself. She became ill, was admitted to the hospital and later to a rehab nursing home. She was placed on hospice care shortly after admittance. During her 30day stay at the rehab nursing home, I visited several Adult Family Homes (AFH).
