I've had two projects with NuHome; and new roof and replacement storm and entry doors. Through both projects, Maria was a fantastic resource in getting me scheduled, keeping me informed about arrangements, and providing prompt assistance with billing. This year I needed invoices for tax purposes and Maria was on it! My tax preparer needed specific costs for each project so I could my preparer could fill out the forms correctly. Had new windows installed. The high rating is primarily in praise for the employees who did the actual installation. They were incredibly careful and thorough. I had security bars on one of the windows that I was meaning to have removed; they took them off and it doesn't even look like they had been there in the first place. They also took care to remove my blinds, put them back up, and make sure they were still functional. They were polite, tidy, and considerate.
We had our house wrapped and a new gutter system installed -- Both teams & our Project Manager were amazing!
When you hire this company, they aggressively solicit your neighbors. They go door to door. They call people's phones to telemarket. They do not respect requests to stop. It's a terrible pitch, too, about how they're offering a free quote, like they're doing you a favor, even though their competitors already offer free quotes (but don't solicit this aggressively). They tell your neighbors that they're working at your house and that's why they're offering this *special offer* (that is not at all special), so everyone blames y... read more
