I had a great experience. This was my first time going to a salon, and I came for a color correction. I had years of dark brown box dye layered on top of permanent red, and tried multiple at-home color removers and was left with a patchy mess. My appointment was with Rebecca, and she was able to get me to a nice dark copper color. She was transparent about my expectations, and I was confident in her skills the entire appointment. I have lived in Newark for a handful of years and this is only the SECOND time I was able to find a decent salon in the nearby area that I could leave with a positive experience instead of in tears Although I do have one complaint, I also made an appt to get my brows waxed and laminated that same day and they canceled that portion of my appt last minute due to " not having the correct products in stock" They never offered to reschedule nor gave me any eta on when those products would be arriving
