Honestly one of the worst cleanings I’ve ever had. The hygienist barely touched my teeth, I didn’t even hear any calculus being removed and it had been 6months since my last cleaning. They didn’t perio chart and it was my first visit and the dentist didn’t even touch me she just shined her light in my mouth and said everything was good. How can they tell if a discolored area is sticky with decay or if it is just a stain if she doesn’t use an explorer? I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience at Nu-Smile. I recently had to have a lot of work done and I have severe anxiety when it comes to dental work and the team here made me as comfortable as possible. They were great, could not recommend more!
We are active duty military. In valdosta, there is very limited dentists who takes our dental insurance. I lived in Valdosta for a long time. When my dentist passed away unexpectedly (so sad!), I had a very difficult time finding care. This dentist was in network. I never had any problems. The atmosphere is not like a regular dentist office as it is decorated beach themed. My daughter (3 and 4 at the time) enjoyed going as they had a puppet she could clean their teeth. When I chose not to get some work done at that time the dentist walked away from me, mumbling under her breath. Hey doc, it’s my mouth and I decide when you’re gonna work on it.
