Pros- good break room in operations building Friendly staff Highly polished handrails Cons- frequent elevator issues Extremely hot inside conveyor structure Not very aesthetically pleasing In summary, I feel like 3.8 stars is a little high, but not the worst plant I've ever been to.
I watched them build this plant in the early 80's. It provides good jobs for the local economy. Environmentally conscious company. They burn clean coal from Wyoming that is brought in by train. They closed the lignite mine around the plant a number of years ago. We need the power and we need the jobs. It is good for Texas!
