I was told the geriatric facility had been shut down. They lied. I reported my experience there with my Primary Nurse Practitioner. She was supposed to report it. It’s worse than a bad nursing home. They force everyone up very early and make you stay in a day room and watch Hallmark Channel constantly. You can never go to your room to rest until at least 9:30 or 1;00 sometimes later when the aides are fighting with their boyfriends on their cell phones. Would never take my sister there again! (2024) The only decent employees there were the social ladies who worked between doctors and families. The young attendants (females) in the Geriatric/Psych unit were very rude and demeaning.
