would not recommend Rude owner. Made me feel horrible about wanting to return something, even though I had purchased it the previous day and the product was undamaged. 0
No phone skills I just called on the phone inquiring about a can opener. The lady that answered the phone was mumbling and condescending. She was very vague about what they carried and I seemed to have inconvenienced her by calling. When I asked her the brands that they carried she said I probably never heard of them, and then mumbled something incoherent. I will not be going there if it were the only place to buy.
Staff hovers over you every second you are there... The store does have a very good selection, however their prices are on the high side for the brands they sell as compared to other stores. I still would shop here more often, however, if it weren't for the way the staff continuously hovers over customers. This has happened every time I've gone in, and I've seen it happen to the other customers while I'm shopping as well. Now We're Cookin-Big LOSS I dont believe the positive feeds re this store one bit. Some companies pay folks to post them, I suspect NWC has done so. My husband and I were browsing, had several items we needed, we were comparrison shopping, carefully examining our choices,had actually decided to buy there. Dissappointing Sales Person I just called a few minutes ago to check on a price of a knife that caught my attention a couple of weeks back looking for a gift for a friend. It was a new Ergo Knuckle Sandwich Knife, Guy Fieri edition. I asked the yound lady who answered the phone about the Ergo knife. She claimed that they did not carry that particular brand. When I stated it was the red and blue Knuckle Sandwich knife, she then knew what I was talking about.
Do you really care to make a sale? I called to ask if they carry a particular cookbook. The person who answered was very vague about it and said she would check. Less than a minute later she was back on the line to say she "thought" they didn't carry it. I was left to wonder if she really checked! Lost a sale...
Ms. I was in your wonderful shop day before yesterday and have been in many time. Have purchased over $500. at a time, but usually around $100. I consider myself a valued customer and travel there all the way from Taos which is 2 1/2 hrs. drive. I arrived and asked to use the bathroom and was rudely told that I would have to go two stores up to use Borders restroom. A Great Albuquerque Store I have always found the staff of Now We're Cooking to be first rate. They know their inventory and are always willing to assist you in finding what ever you are looking for, and sometimes a few things you did not realize you were looking for!! LOL!! I find this store to have an exceptional inventory as well. As a small business owner myself, I always try to shop at a locally owned store before I give my business to a chain or an internet business!
