Unique and Local Novo is very unique and that is what makes it a local favorite. While the prices are a little high, the ambiance is well worth it for a special date. This isn't the place where I would go with my kids just because my son is very energetic and loud...I would feel like I was ruining the experience for other guests.
Beautiful setting, outstanding food and service1 I have always had exceptional meals at Novo. The creek-side setting is a delight on one of San Luis Obispo's many perfect days. The Salmon Bisque is a MUST! Just imagine yourself enjoying a leisurely lunch, a glass of wine...heaven. The servers are attentive and well trained.
Could be better, seating is not that great The food is good but way too expensive. The limitability of seating inside is not comfortable as almost 80% of the resturant is all outside seating. The outside is beautiful, lights and all just think it needs a friendlier price and more inside seating.
Fun atmosphere cultural food restaurant I love coming to this place because of its atmosphere and great food. They have many different ethnic foods, as well as your all American hot dog and hamburger. Try their chicken skewers and shrimp or chicken salads. You can find a variety of foods here to satisfy everyone in your party.

A unique experience in SLO Novo has food no one else around here does, and it works. They are a bit pricey for this area but the food is really excellent. They have a great room downstairs for large groups. The service is friendly and fast.
A great dining experience... One of the best restaurants in the area. The food is always superb! Quality ingredients, presentation is outstanding and the portions are generous, so when you eat at Novo you have plenty of left overs to enjoy it again!
