I have worked with Novi Psychiatry and Psychology both as a patient, a mother (my daughter was a patient) and through my work (I have to call them for medication issues - I work in a pharmacy). I have had the worst experiences here in every aspect. I had so many problems getting prescriptions in a timely manner, for awhile they could no longer send controlled scripts electronically and I would have to drive there to pick up the prescription to get it filled. never put yourself through the torture of being Dr Garcia's patient
Terrible office. My initial diagnosis testing went fine, but seeing Dr. Garcia made me not want to come back, but it had taken such an effort to see someone that i decided to stick with it. Dr. Garcia asked what i wanted, and when i said i wasn't sure and that i needed advice, he then seemed annoyed and replied "most people do their research first." I do not understand these negative reviews. I have been under the care of Dr. Garcia for over 10 years. He is an excellent doctor! He is very straightforward. I think some people can't handle that. He has always treated me with the utmost respect, going above and beyond whatever it takes to help me. He referred me to one of his therapists that I see regularly. This is the first clinic that finally got my diagnosis correct after years of trying to figure it out. The clinic is accommodating and has helped me to reschedule and get appointments scheduled with short notice due to my ever changing work schedule. The staff is helpful and has expedited prior authorization requests when they are needed. They have also been helpful changing medications that have had issues with being out of supply or on backorder.
