Carol is a genius and an angel. I came to her with a printed out sheet of inspiration, the wrong fabric, and a basic dress, and she saw the vision and elevated it. We added sleeves and detailing to a basic Leau dress to make the 1960s elopement dress of my dreams! Every piece of advice she gave was foundational to it turning out as well as it did, and i appreciate her honesty with me so much! Carol did an amazing job with the alterations for my wedding dress. I had gone to another seamstress first and she told me that she couldn't work on my dress because it was too complex. When I came to Carol, she was not intimidated at all and got right to work. I had to go in for 4-5 fittings before it was ready, and it fit perfectly. Best choice to come here!

After visiting a few bridal stores around SF and the Bay Area, I ultimately ended up purchasing my wedding dress from Novella Bridal. The store was easy to get to (walking distance from some mail public transit areas in SF) and has a wide variety of dress options to choose from, either by browsing on your own or getting suggestions from the staff.
