1. UVA didn’t follow proper procedure to select medical transportation company to transport patients under their care. On Mar 11, 2021 I went to UVA ER for complication of a procedure done at INVA Hospital at Fair Oakes earlier in the week. UVA ER Team decided to transport me to Fair Oakes hospital. UVA team didn’t call my insurance company to coordinate the transportation as they suppose to; but instead, they called a company Named AEC medical transport of Manassas to do the job. If I could give this freaking hospital less that 1-star I would. This hospital SUCKS, almost 5 hours and my son still hasn't been seen. Then when I asked when they would take him back they decided to place him in the hallway after knowing he had been throwing up and feeling like crap and YES there are rooms available! I am pissed..no nurse has seen him, no doctor, NOTHING! TRUST ME your better off going to patient first then coming here. These people are a joke.
