ER nurses were absent. I saw mine one time in 4 hours after he missed an IV stick 3 times he got angry stormed out of the room and NEVER came back. The some woman comes in doesn't say a word starts the IV draws the blood. I'm laying there freezing. No sheet no pillow. I am crying in pain and vomiting. They didn't give me a nurse call light. I was told they would have to order a pillow and was given 1 bath blanket. I never received anything for pain or nausea so it was a totally useless visit. DO NOT GO TO Presby. Hosp. in Huntersville. It's the worst in service, caring, equipment, and cleanliness. After 12 hours in the ER waiting for a room to empty to be admitted, my husband was placed in a small closet sized room without any windows, and no bathroom! There was a SHARED bathroom between rooms, but the person in the other room was in quaranteen, that person should not have been in that area at all. Bathrooms should not be shared.
