I've been seeing Dr Lai for a few months and have been extremely impressed with his care and also the office!
Transactional and rude. I don’t recommend Dr Lai.
I was charged a fee for my physical this year. When I asked why I was being charged for a physical (when it should be fully covered), I was informed "currently being monitored for a diagnosis" incurs a charge and they referenced my Vitamin D deficiency. I have had a Vitamin D deficiency since I was 15 years old so every year my doctor asks if I'm still taking a Vitamin D pill. I have NEVER by an prior provider been charged a fee for this. I was being treated at this office by Dr. Lai. I had a video visit with him and he asked why had I missed so many appointments. I replied and said that he knows I cannot drive due to my uncontrollable seizures. I don’t have any family here. He said I need to change to an office that is closer to me. Once again, I cannot drive to my seizures, which Dr. Lai has been treating me for. I have obtained an attorney for disability.
