I have been going to this facility for about a year now. I walk with canes because of spinal problems. I have had some very rude staff and some very kind and considerate staff while going in for appointments. I have to have blood work done every 3 to 4 months because I am a diabetic. I always go to the back door of the lab because it is much easier for me to not have to walk all the way from the front of the building, just to get blood work. I recently accompanied my wife who has had a nauseous feeling for 4 days, cramps and a pain in her wrist. Though it was my first time there she has been a patient for years. She has complained about the rudeness and attitudes of both staff and doctors every time she has had to go ( she should have switched after the first negative experience but she kept putting it off). i was sad to see the first 3 reviews. My spouse and I both go to KFP for the past 3 years and have seen different PA's and Dr's. We are thoroughly pleased with our visits. There was a time my spouse had no insurance and we were given a discount for the visit. As far as checking in and out and making upcoming appointments, the employees do what they need to do to get their job done to get you ready to see the dr. Its not a place or time for idle chit chat.
A few bad apples – My last visit was with their office mgr. She, like most people there are great. My problem is with John Thacker and Andy Sechreist. Andy sent me to John Davis regarding a lump. John Davis had asatelite office there. I was led to believe I had things growing in me when all I actually had was a femoral hernia. Andy realized there was a problem with the pathology reports but never explained it to me. My inguinal nerve was apparently damaged during Davis's 2nd surgery on me. Don't waste your time with these rude and unhappy people – I have been with this group for over 20 years. However, after the rude run in with the receptionist and the office manager, I am leaving. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GROUP!! All they care about is their time, not yours.
Unprofessional Poor Customer Service- RUDE – I was searching for a new physician near my new home and came across Steele Creek Family Practice and called to get an appointment. I was on hold for more than 10 minutes, I hung up and called back some one answer and said "hold on i have a patient in front of me" shortly there after another person answered the phone VERY RUDE, unprofessional asked me to repeat myself several times in such a rude tone of voice, i asked her to hold on while i verify a date, and she hung up on me. Kernersville Family Practice – I have not insurance and I called to see when I could come in and how much the things I needed to be done would cost. Brenda was nice until I told her I had no insurance. Her reply was,"Why don't you just go to Prime Care?" I don't think you should be rude and mean to anyone who could be a prospective patient. I do NOT recommend this site at all
Too High Priced and no Customer Service – I went to this office with a sprained ankle. It ended up costing me $528. They charged me $321 for an office visit, and $207 for a plastic brace that you can buy for $41. Amanda, the office manager could only tell me, "Oh that is just what we charge." I waited 2 1/2 hours to see a doctor, then when I saw her, she spent a good bit of time giving me her life story. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY.
worst doctors office – after a year of going to dr. mendolson he suddenly turned his back on us when we complained about his office staff not calling our pharmacy on several occasions to refil an important prescription. when i asked to speak to the office manager over the phone, the staff tried to play games with me, and one of the nurses got on the phone pretending to be the manager. i know this because i recognized his voice as he is the only male nurse there! also., the doctors advice contradicted several specialists we l... read more
