This Hospital is AMAZING !!!! My daughter Lacie was diagnosed with T1D on 9/4/25, we were transferred to this hospital to get better care for her. We was in this hospital for 3 days, It was a stressful time but ALL the staff were very nice, sweet, kind and very helpful. It was a REMARKABLE experience and we will NEVER forget it. They had a indoor play room and outdoor playground. THEY SPOILED HER ROTTEN HERE AND I CANT BE MORE THANKFUL AND APPRECIATIVE FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR MY LITTLE PRINCESS LACIE !!! Don’t bother. Go to atrium instead. If you HAVE to go to this ER for your child and get Dr. Richards assigned to your child ask for someone else. Some nurses are also super rude. Thankfully the majority of the nurses are kind.
This is the place to go if you want the nurses gathering around talking about your child and laughing about their mental health. Oh yes, the doctor onboard was whispering his 2 cents in. I’m definitely taking this to a higher authority with proof. Carly, Victoria, 2 others plus the Dr.V. Don’t allow these unprofessional people to see your child.
Wendy and the team helped care for our 3 year old son after he gashed his head open and we are so thankful for all of them. We were seen quickly, everyone was so kind, patient and understanding. They helped him feel so comfortable during a bad circumstance and we are so grateful for the team. Thank you all for making a difficult situation better.
I just called and tried to get the wait time and they didn’t want to give it to me. So I said okay…. Is it busy? He says “I’m sorry I can’t give out that information” sounds like they want you to come and wait all night instead of scaring you away with the wait time. Last time I went I waited two hours before my son was seen.
