DO NOT schedule any visit with Zhanna Sheleg. I just relocated to az from Denver and needed a new primary care doctor to be able to transfer over for my medical needs and refills. Zhanna was so unprofessional over an hour late to my appt just to come in and degrade me and make me feel like I was some type of drug addict. My previous doctor I have had for 20 yrs has me on a super low dose of Xanax as needed because do to allergies and breathing issues I sometimes get extreme anxiety attacks. I booked an annual routine physical at Novakovic and was crystal clear from scheduling and onwards that I wanted nothing done outside of the preventative services covered by my insurance. Despite being reassured multiple times that they understood, they did not code any of the services as preventative, so I’ve now been billed $500 (after insurance) between an office visit and lab tests. As a former employee who’s worked along side of Dr. Novakovic for 7+ years, he is the greatest, funniest, and most intelligent man I have crossed paths with. He continues to strive everyday with innovative medicine, incorporating natural medicine & always thinking outside the box.
