I am so glad we hired a doula through Nova Birth Services and was paired with Shannon. This was my husband and my first pregnancy so having the extra support and resources was much appreciated. And having Shannon there for labor and delivery was much needed since my labor moved very quickly so it was easy for me to become overwhelmed but Shannon helped me stay grounded. As first time parents, my husband and I knew we wanted someone knowledgeable and supportive through the birth process. We are so grateful we found Shannon. She was beyond wonderful in helping us prepare for birth and in navigating a long labor process and the eventual pivot to a c-section. I am so grateful for the NOVA birth services team of doulas. Amanda, Robyn, Beth and Shannon were an essential part of my “village” pre, during and post delivery. I’m honestly not sure what my husband and I would have done without them. Shannon and Beth provided us with invaluable labor and lactation preparation, ensuring I was physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for birth.
