A big thank you to Joe & John after a local Toyota dealer did a patch up job a on my 4x4 converted Hiace commuter which resulted the exact same issue happening again. Nova were the only ones willing to look at it. I told Joe I need to 2 questions answered, why it happed again and how to fix it properly. They called me down once they stripped it down and showed the issue and how they will overcome the issue arising again. The guys at Nova were very professional with their response. Unfortunately being a volvo it takes forever to get parts in from Sweden, but I have no doubt that once the recieve the parts I will be back on the road in no time . Nova was actually suggested to my by the guy at the volvo dealership as volvo were snowed under with work , so Nova must really know what they are doing .
Full transmission rebuild, they are professional, knowledgeable and the whole process was very smooth. Car runs amazing, so happy with the outcome.
I contacted Nova Automatics as they were RAA Approved and was impressed by the level of detail given by Joe, who patiently answered my many questions regarding the transmission. Not only was the cost to check it less than half quoted by the car dealership where I bought the vehicle, but if I went ahead with a transmission rebuild, it was included in the final price.
