I’ve lived at Nova for 5 years. Management has gone downhill from a low standard to begin with. The community room they advertise is locked as a resident was misusing it. It has been for about 5 months. The rooftop has been in need of repair for about 6 months. Management has disappeared, loose dogs on rooftop, noisy neighbors, and smoking. Also, compact parking spaces in garage are very difficult to park in even with a small compact car as they allow very large vehicles to park in compact spaces.
I lived in Nova from 2021-2023 and LOVED it. The apartments are very well kept and although not huge, the urban one-bedroom is laid out in such a way that they really maximized the space. I lived there with 2 cats and regularly threw dinner parties and no one ever felt cramped. Rachael, the current property manager is super on top of things and responds quickly to issues, and Jordan the from maintenance team is great too! I highly recommend living here if you're looking for a great spot in West Seattle.
Prompt response to maintenance requests. Decent size for apartment. Beautifully maintained rooftop. Parking not so fun, but manageable. I have received parking tickets not moving my car fast enough. Management working hard to keep “riff raff” continuing to rent here. YMCA close by and reasonable walking distance to various places in the area. Overall it is quiet building.
Overall decent place to live with a nice YMCA across the street and nicely situated in West Seattle, but I had multiple issues with my washing machine and had to have maintenance come by several times just to wash a load.
