Don't let them fool you with cheap rent because it is not as cheap as they will charge you a lot for electricity. You will be paying over $200 or nearly the amount in electricity if you are responsible for paying. Mind you, your roommates will be paying the same amount. You are better off finding better apartments near campus. Btw, don't look at the good reviews because they were providing us with a gift card for making a review.
I moved into my apartment back in December. It was a bit of a shock with all the lake-effect snow, seeing that where I grew up, we never experienced that much. As for the apartments, they are clean and well-maintained, nestled into a quiet cult-di-sac vibe. I enjoy the firepit pit and having the ability to cook my food on the grills. My husband and I, as international students, lived for ten months in a Notre Dame apartment managed by Irish Gold Management, and our experience was amazing. The apartment came partially furnished, with laundry facilities available, and the rent included utilities and internet. Its location is excellent—you can walk to campus, and Trader Joe’s is just around the corner.
