I have arrived in South Bend from international, and the Irish Gold team has done an exceptional job of making my transition smooth and calming my mind with their warm hospitality. However, they do not allow for early termination regardless 3 or more months that you are willing to cover the lease for any reason. Please read your lease agreement carefully! And ask for that! Other than that, they are good
Christy, Chris, Amber, and the rest of the Irish Gold Management team are excellent to work with. They provide top notch off-campus housing and put in an amazing effort to make everyones experience exceptional. Highly recommend!
*This review relates to Irish Gold's houses only* If you are a Notre Dame parent, please read!!!!!!! There are two lease provisions that you should take note of with Irish Gold: (1) the owner retains the right, at any time, to enter the premises to show the property. If you're expecting privacy while you're living at the house, you should ask to negotiate that lease provision. (2) Irish Gold rents out a lot of very old houses built in the 1950s. Don't let them fool you with cheap rent because it is not as cheap as they will charge you a lot for electricity. You will be paying over $200 or nearly the amount in electricity if you are responsible for paying. Mind you, your roommates will be paying the same amount. You are better off finding better apartments near campus. Btw, don't look at the good reviews because they were providing us with a gift card for making a review.
