I had an incredibly uncomfortable experience at this salon today. Despite the shop being completely empty, the receptionist was dismissive and unprofessional. I came in as a new customer looking for a long-term salon to remove gel from a previous manicure. After a brief glance, she claimed my nails were "toxic" and that they don’t handle "toxic" materials here. I called Nothing in Between at Tysons Corner Center today regarding a previous nail service issue, and unfortunately, my experience with the owner, Jade Kim Trusso, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Very neat and clean place. Warm and friendly staff. Riley was excellent and loved her work.
Very disappointed with my recent gel manicure experience. The service felt unprofessional from the start — after shaping my nails, the staff didn’t check with me before applying polish. When finished, almost every nail on my left hand was uneven and crooked. When I pointed it out, I was told it was due to my “natural nail shape,” which I’ve never been told before at other salons.
