I’ve always enjoyed their cakes but this time around it was exhausting to make my purchase. The Nampa location had nothing available, which required me to make two separate trips, one to Meridian and another to Eagle. I was needing a gluten free item and a carrot cake. I’m not certain I’ll be willing to invest so much time again.
I called ahead about 25 minutes before arriving to confirm that the cakes I needed were available. At no point during that call was I told that an online or app order would be required. When I arrived, I was informed that I could not purchase what I needed immediately and would have to wait an additional hour because the order had to be placed through the app. Had this been communicated during my phone call, I could have placed the order ahead of time and avoided the inconvenience.
