Is it wrong to expect a cake shop that has individual products to have forks? Selling old candles 50¢ a pop when the cakes are already a premium price. Rude customer service, are all locations like this?
First time stopping into Nothing Bundt Cakes in Vernon Hills and I’ve gotta say... I get the hype now. The store was beautifully decorated, super clean, and every flavor looked absolutely unreal. It was actually my wife’s first time too, but she walked in like she already knew it was going to be amazing. Turns out she was right. Service seemed good in store, but they switched out my buntini order for bundlets and charged me accordingly (double the cost). Their only resolution was a 10% discount for their store. When I pointed out I live 800 miles away from their store and was temporarily in town, the miscommunication was blamed on me. Pretty sure after speaking with the associate for over 5 minutes about "buntinis" specifically, I didn't miss-key my own order into the register. Check your orders and receipts carefully.
Kayla, the manager was extremely rude. I called to let them know about an issue with one of their cupcakes, not only did she not offer a resolution but was extremely rude and hung up on me. Extremely unacceptable especially since I was nothing but polite and kind. Will be passing this along to corporate however will not be repurchasing here as a customer any longer.
