The cakes and products here are honestly amazing — some of the best around. But the atmosphere in the store really takes away from it. The management seems disorganized and unprofessional. You can tell there’s tension among the staff, and it doesn’t feel like a healthy or positive work environment. It’s a shame because the actual bakery items are great, but the tone set by leadership really brings the place down.
Please start requesting more cakes or just build more stores in Delaware. It’s no way that you should be sold out of limited flavors 2 days in and will not replenish. Then get told come sooner, this happened twice. Other locations and nearby states still have the limited flavors.i think management needs to look into this and manage the quantity of their products better.
Great Bundt cakes; poor customer service. After purchasing $25 worth of cake (and the transaction already going through) I asked for utensils. I was told that they are prohibited by DE law to provide plastic utensils. This is inaccurate and it’s disturbing to me that customers are being lied to. In 2026, a bill will be passed that states that customers may have plastic utensils specifically upon request.
