I hate to leave a review like this, but our latest experience here was really upsetting. The older white gentleman with salt and pepper hair was flat-out rude from the moment we walked in. As a Black woman, I immediately picked up on a tone and attitude that felt different from how he interacted with the couple in front of us. I walked into the Fontana shop on 6/20/25 at 6:45pm. There were two female workers both behind separate registers. I was the only customer. It was quiet. Since I was not greeted, I said hello with a smile in a very welcoming way. No response. They looked at me and looked away. I ignored it. I chose a cake. Literally the best cakes I’ve ever had in my 33 years of living, honest to god I’ve had cakes from Porto’s, cakes from other mom and pop bakeries but wow this place blows them out of the water. The bakers need a raise, and I will never EVER go anywhere else for cakes, I had white chocolate raspberry and a single key like pie and good lord the flavors are intense and the cake itself is buttery smooth and soft. I thought my mom’s cakes were delicious god rest her soul even she couldn’t compete with this place.
My first visit to store. I purchased 2 cupcakes. They melted in my mouth. Delicious !!!
