This place is one of those places that feel like home. One sandwich from this place is enough to make you go back for more. They really have amazing sandwiches in here.
If there is only one place that you would really love and try to save it from damnation, this would be the place that I would save. Yes, it’s that awesome for me.
Love the latkes! – This place is great for breakfast - especially if you've had a long night, or have lots of family in town and don't feel like getting out the waffle iron for them. Everything I've ever had here was good - but I will give a shout out to the Matzo ball soup and the Chicken Noodle soup, both are excellent for speedily restoring your sick loved ones to health. My all-time favorite indulgence here is the potato latkes... yes, with applesauce and sour cream!
Good Food... But Really Authentic? – We were in Nashville for a concert and love a good deli. This is a good deli... but not exactly like the New York delis we love. My wife had the open-faced roast beef on sourdough. I had the corned beef has and eggs. Both were tasty. BUT, when I think of the authentic New York delis that I love, I think of the places that make their own deli meats, not just heat and serve. I also don't think of frozen veggies or pre-packaged gravy. All in all, the food was good, but not great. We will pro... read more
Nashville loves Noshville – Great place for breakfast foods...the french egg toast is awesome!!! They have a wide variety of menu items though...grouper sandwich to chef salads, etc. Great place for families:) They are usually always busy, and close in the afternoon around 4 pm, I think.
Come here for a serious sandwich! – When relatives come into town, this is one of our favorite places to bring them to. it's been a pleasure each and everytime, the staff is awesome! You can't beat a deli in the middle of Nashville! Noshville is such a great place to stuff your tummy and nothing else the rest of the day! Stuff your face and forget about it until tomorrow!
Neither here nor there – The food Noshville always tastes good. The portions are enormous, but it'd never my first choice. I usually end up going because the group I'm with has decided to go for brunch on Saturday or Sunday morning. For me, the menu doesn't have the best options, so I usually end up ordering the same thing each time. A club sandwich. The fries are decent but the diet coke tastes like the machine doesn't have the right balance of syrup and carbonation. Honestly, it's neither here nor there for me. I'll go and... read more
Great NE/NY Deli – I like the funky 50's feel of the place. It can be hard to find good bread and deli's (sandwich shops are not the same here) in Nashville so this place is filling that gap. Order your cold cuts to go! Where else can I get decent egg salad on rye but Noshville? I'd be there daily if I worked closer.
Imported from NY & Miami – I have eaten in NY delis for years and years. Finding Noshville, with their imported foods was a wonderful discovery! I've enjoyed a corned beef on rye, adding plenty of brown mustard, several times for the past few years. Almost every time I'm in Nashville, I make a special trip to Noshville to eat lunch. I highly recommend having that sandwich with a Kosher dill pickle. The Carnegie Deli (established in 1937) does not serve french dip...so I totally discount that review. Look up their menu online... read more
