Ridiculous. I have an incredibly painful ear infection and was denied service because I don’t have a doctor or nurse practitioner through them. What is the point of your walk in then?
*this is an edit, to my edit, to my original.* I mentioned in my first edit how they may want to re-train reception since so many issues came from there. While it's never perfect and I'm positive they're under funded, its just better now. I think they listened. One particular receptionist does seem to have it out for me though. For nothing, far as I know. I was shortly employed by them for their bus, but it didn't last long. A receptionist and I butted heads. Why is nearly irrelevant, it just cost me my job. My son called today to see if he could book an appointment as he’s experiencing a lot of depression and anxiety. The doctor he sees only works in town a few days a month. The receptionist said that there is nothing she can do. When he asked if there is anyone else he can see she said no and hung up on him. This is not the way to conduct a business and this isn’t the first time we have had a bad experience with this same receptionist.
I was denied medical assistance because I have a family doctor, was then asked openly infront of a lobby full of people what my medical issues were. This happened Monday June 23rd 2025. Was also told walk in clinic wasn't open, even though I showed up 1 minute after opening hours. Looking through government policies, denying medical access to a person through a walk in clinic solely on the reason that they have a family doctor, isn't allowed.
Terrible receptionist. Absolutely zero information kind of rude! Like that’s your front line right there and that’s how they talk over the phone! Not professional at all
