My brother-in-law, who has special needs and is also battling cancer, was admitted to Norton because of an abscess on his gums. Normally this would be a simple procedure, but because of his condition, he can’t tolerate anyone touching him — he needs to be sedated for any treatment. This infection is keeping him from receiving his cancer treatments, and every day that passes puts his life at risk. My experience as a patient has been positive, but while I was waiting for a test, Fox News was on the tv in the waiting room. Fox News is a news format tv show that as a matter of public record has broadcast lies they knew were lies. That's beneath any reasonable standard of public decency. It's indecent to have that on in a public setting, and it reflects poorly on Norton Healthcare Pavilion.

0 stars I had an appointment at Norton Pain Management downtown this morning and the entire experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I was running about 7 minutes late, so I did the right thing and called the 629 number ahead of time. I was told it would be fine and that valet parking was available. When I arrived, the two women at registration were sitting on their phones and completely ignored me.
