RecommendedGVL is my favorite MN resort! I look forward to visiting it every year. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and the accommodations are Grand!
When an employer cuts your 401k after 5 years of hard work and dedication, you get yelled at for disorganization and being assigned to multiple roles at once and thrown all over, the general manager leaves you no gratuity on a large food order he gets as a write off while your working in a hot food truck on a 95 Degree day with no AC and coming back to try and help them, and makes you work for a minimal wage with the illusion of security where the customers generate the money to you through tips and they barely pay you , you... read more

Terrible service. Took an umbrella from our table after we brought it over from another table that was empty along with 3-4 other tables that were empty. Had some small children with us that we were trying to get out of the sun. They came over a few Minutes later and removed the umbrella and put 3 children under 3 out in the sun because they said they had more reservations. Don't waste your money - Not all the restaurants were open, the pool closed early, and the food was terrible. If all the amenities and restaurants are not open, DON'T charge full price. I did provide feedback, and never got a response back, so obviously the management does not care.

TERRIBLE management and customer service. I have tried to get ahold of management for over 4 weeks and I have yet to get a call back. Left over 5 voicemails for the General Manager and have yet to get a single call back. For this reason, I would highly not recommend GV.
