Had Bob and his design team design/plan updates to front and back exterior residential home. Excellent design and execution. Price reasonable and Dan Clark was excellent to work with. No issues and he made suggestions throughout the small project. Took minor vacation during project and as always Northwood was fantastic.
We interviewed 6 different contractors to renovate our basement for aging in place, designated as an ALU (Accessory Living Unit) in Fairfax county. We chose the Northwood construction, Inc. Their fee was reasonable, not the lowest nor the highest. We did not have to pay up to 10K for the designer fees as in other contractors' proposal. Northwood is an excellent construction/remodeling company. They do well on all of the key criteria: 1)They did the work for the exact price they promised 2)They finished the work *ahead* of the schedule they promised 3)The quality of the work itself was excellent. In addition, the integrity of the folks we worked with was without blemish. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
Northwood just completed a 256 square foot studio in our backyard. Northwood both designed and build it. We couldn't be happier with the process and the results. Everyone was pleasant to work with, and they were always available to answer any question. We selected Northwood from our experience with them on other projects around our house.
