At 1st, would have given 5 stars. Had mesh put in, had massive internal bleeding that put me in hosp. for almost 3 mos. 2 yrs. later,still suffering from this, belly looks like I have triplets in there, rest of me is thin. Saw Dr. Fronza who can put the mesh in, put refused to take it out. Abdomen has opened up on its own & had massive bleeding. Now if I call, I do not even get a call back. Dr. Fronza has said he will not help me w/this, & in such pain I can't stand it. Entire side of surgery is turning rock hard. Shame on y... read more

Dr. Fronza performed my Gastric Sleeve surgery @ Northwestern on 11-15-17. From the first initial visit with him, I felt comfortable with my decision to have him perform my surgery. He is very nice, understanding and overall a great surgeon! I have had no issues since my surgery and my incisions healed nicely and you can hardly see them!!
Dr. Fronza has performed several of my surgeries (due to a condition the causes scar tissue to form easier and faster than it does for others). Not only are his surgical skills above and beyond, but I find his personality helps to comfort me while undergoing each procedure; and I wish more doctors had his approach to medicine. This review is for Dr. Jeffrey Fronza. After two years of seeing pulmonary and gastroenterology specialists at two facilities, he was able to perform the LINX surgery necessary to fix my severe GERD that exacerbated my asthma. Getting an appointment was extremely easy. Dr. Fronza is friendly and professional; has an excellent bedside manner. The care and consideration I received from Dr. Fronza before and after my gastric sleeve surgery was phenomenal. He had me sign onto an app on my cell phone that lists calories, fat, protein, carbohydrates, sodium, etc. so that I could track my daily eating habits. It was an eye opener!
