A real gem!
I came to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for medical assistance that ended in a mental health crisis. I requested emergency assistance and accommodation. Instead of receiving informed triage, I was directed to a quiet area, where a staff member raised their voice and demanded that I leave. My requests for accommodation and a patient advocate were dismissed, and I was left unattended even after disclosing escalating suicidal, homicidal ideation, and actively bleeding. This hospital REFUSES to perform the US Test ordered by my doctor instead they are BLACKMAILING ME into getting a test that is NOT needed (a mammogram) or else they said they will NOT PROVIDE ANY CARE AT ALL - putting my life in peril! It is TIME WE WOMEN stood UP FOR OUR HEALTH CARE!
