I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do. I usually take my appointments to Northwestern Memorial downtown. Never ever have issues at Northwestern Memorial. But I needed to get in sooner for imagining and Woodstock was the hospital with the soonest appointment. I arrived early and wasn’t expecting to get in sooner, the lady at the front desk was very welcoming. But it seems to be other staff were ridiculing me for coming early. DO NOT come to Woodstock Northwestern Medicine if you need stitches. You are better off taking the time to go to Huntley, Harvard, or even MercyHealth Urgent Care. We came in so a family member could get stitches in his finger. The wait time start to finish was 5+ hours. There was a handful of patients to come in after us, and leave before us, even though the waiting area was practically empty for hours at a time. Went to the emergency department and got the worst person in the front desk. Shes around 30-40, white, brunette and is very clearly not happy to be here or help anyone. She was busy gossiping with the male cop who was behind the desk sitting practically on top of her. She asked me if I wanted to do a full emergency room visit… why else would I come to the emergency department?
