Place is a joke, family member was in there for attempting suicide, but then 3 days later gets sent home “with no signs of suicidal ness” Please tell me how in 3 days you guys can determine that, not to mention had someone call and voice their concerns with how suicidal the patient is but still proceeds to let them out the next day You guys really need to get this place together before someone does kill them selves or something when you guys said they aren’t suicidal
Brevity is not my strong suit, but I’ll do my best! Truly terrible experience in the ER today with my four-month-old daughter and the nurse who assisted us (I unfortunately did not get his name- male, white, tall, blonde, forearm tattoos, possibly late 30’s). Subjectivity obviously applies, and I also don’t think this man meant to be intentionally harmful. But it’s perhaps worse to claim ignorance as justification for clear misogyny. Wow...if you like being treated like a criminal be sure to go the ER at Northwestern Medicine.in Woodstock. I was there to see my son. I was scanned for a weapon. I had to put my purse.in a locker. However, there was no key for the locker....supposedly.a camera. Then I was escorted out via security. They said this has always been their policy, Unfortunately, I have been there many times. This is a first. Overall, just a wonderful experience.
Not enough providers, waited for hours for my mom to be taken care of in an emergency with only three people in the waiting room.
