I definitely do not recommend Robert T. Nixon (MD) He gave me an incorrect diagnosis because he did not carefully review my MRI results--or in fact, he didn't even open the MRI image files, after I spent a lot of time to get them sent to his office. His recommendations made my pain even more severe. He prescribed exercises for scoliosis, but it turned out I have a bulging disc that was clearly visible on my MRI. I have been a patient for 3 weeks now. My finger was broken and I had very minimal mobility on my first visit. Mike and Karen have helped me so much since then. The care provided has been beyond expectations. Thank you so much to the whole team at Northwestern Orthopedics.
I am a retired hospital administrator with previous surgeries elsewhere. One year ago Dr. Flanagan repaired my fractured hip. He did a fantastic job, minimal post op pain. I received appropriate pain medication and follow up care. The staff were helpful and kind. No billing issues. The facility layout was very comfortable.
Do not go to this place. They will just treat you like a drug addict when you are in pain with a broken humerus bone which takes many many months to heal. Within 3 weeks of breaking my arm and trying to work my job with the pain, I was already being accused of being some sort of pill junkie simply for taking 3 5mg Norco per day, which for a guy like me who weighs over 200 lbs, is nothing.
