Overall, my recent visit with Northwestern Medicine was quite disappointing. I had already scheduled a LASIK procedure for the end of July and reached out beforehand to inquire about the possibility of an Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) procedure. The waiting room feels like a DMV. The doctor who saw me was Dr Basti who was polite but he was writing notes on the computer while speaking to me so he barely made eye contact. When I asked what are some complications that he has seen, he dismissed my question and said that his procedures don't have complications and he has only ever had to correct other surgeon's complications. Such an amazing experience! Phenomenal customer service from start to finish. I felt super comfortable while the staff talked me through every step of pre, peri, and post op. Really can’t say enough about how great the staff and the process here is.
