CDH > Delnor Honestly, my first and only experience will hopefully be my last at this facility. Communication, bedside treatment, and overall quality of care was the complete opposite of all my experiences and procedures at CDH. 1.) I would rather wait in this hospitals ER twice as long than be admitted anywhere else. The staff was very knowledgeable and compassionate. The quality of care I received was beyond anything I have experienced before and I am so grateful to have been treated here.
This is NOT a review of the hospital, any doctors, nurses, or other staff. Everyone at the hospital I've ever interacted with has been fantastic. Northwestern Medicines phone system, scheduling system, app, and over complete lack of focus on patient care but on maximum efficiency (FOR THEM!!!!) is infuriating. Most types of appointments and lab work can't actually be scheduled on the worthless MyNM app. So you have to call their joke of a phone system, which goes something like this... - wait 20 minutes on hold to schedule a... read more
The nurses were all kind, the medical staff was great. However it's 2026, and converting what is built to be a single room to a double room with a half divider on wheels is barbaric. Not enough room between the fake curtain and the bed to even get your IV pole out. No joke without the "curtain" you could hold hands with the person in the next bed you're that close together. If your roommate has the bathroom side of the single room they've crammed two people into and has a visitor, you can't even go to the bathroom.... In the... read more
