Dr Neville requested an MRI on my dislocated shoulder. The MRI wasn't conclusive enough for him to fully diagnose the tear but he insisted on surgery while showing me the tools he was anxious to get for the job. The job required drilling holes in my bones and installing anchors with permanent ropes to prevent future dislocations. I rejected his advice and fully recovered but still have to pay the MRI and medical bills. I'm back to doing my pullups and throwing fast pitch without any surgery or repeat dislocations.
