My daughter (age 7) and I were referred here by our dentist for having our tongue ties snipped. We were told that we both had to do a consultation before scheduling the surgery which we did. Both of us were seen at the same time. Both of us were charged separately. The consultation was not covered by insurance and ended up costing us each $100 ($200 total) for a combined 10 minutes of discussion. I'm halfway through a myriad of surgeries with Dr. Subedar and co. and I have nothing but gratitude for the way I've been treated and cared for. Almost 2 years ago my teeth and face were intact but after a fall in front of the dollar store downtown on Cornwall many of the bones in my face and teeth were shattered. The projected outlook for the remaining was definitely not ideal. My daughter had just gotten out of the hospital the night before due to sepsis from a bad tooth. We were told by the doctors at the hospital to find an oral surgeon. I set an appointment for my daughter at Northwest Oral Maxillofacial in Bellingham. The receptionist and assistant were great, but the doctor came in the room with a bad attitude. Told us that he couldn't pull my daughters tooth because she would need to be in a hospital setting due to her complex neurological condition. He was very curt and rude in the process.... read more
