Made appointment weeks in advance. A hour past, I watched person after person get their appointment on time. Yet, I still sit in the waiting room. I was able to get my money back. Still, I have to find a doctor. Poor performance by all there.
I just had my first visit to the clinic and Dr Vela and I could not be happier. The staff were so friendly yet very professional and check-in was easy and quick. The lab staff were also very friendly and efficient and the young lady who took my blood, Miss Andi, did a really good job and didn't leave a bruise. As for Dr Vela I wish I had him as my doctor 25 years ago. Dr Vela is literally the epitome of what I think a doctor should be, a good listener and a gentle guide who does not judge. The care I received was excellent beginning with the receptionist, then with Misty (the MA) followed by Dr. Reed, and finally with Dionne at checkout. Dr. Reed is absolutely amazing! The only problem I encountered was with the clinic’s scale which weighs 5 pounds above true. For me, this is critical because, as a 5’9” man, I am diagnosed as “obese” at 205 lbs. (BMI 30.27) and overweight at 203 lbs. (BMI 29.98). My true weight is 200 lbs. and the clinic scale weighed me at 205 lbs., resulting in a misdiagnosis of obese by Dr.... read more
They had the audacity to call me and leave me a message saying that I should have called yesterday for a refund, which I did, and now are saying it didn’t go through till today. Just shows you guys ARE NOT on the ball. I’m allowed to be pissed off that you let a walk-in before me and HOW DARE YOU say that me being upset is all my fault
5 STARS ONLY FOR DR. ANG-POLAND. She is always caring and patient with me. They had several good doctors at this office, but they all left. Dr. Ang-Poland is the only one left that I trust. If she ever leaves, I’m leaving Northwest Health as well. You must use the automated system to get thru to a live person which I hate. The patient portal looks dated, and doesn’t show appointments you have across Northwest Health. Front desk people are nice, but slow.
